Between 1908-1911, Arthur Desmond was in Canada, there, under the name GERALD DESMOND (variants; Gerald O'Conel Desmond, Gerald O'Connell Desmond, G. Desmond, Comrade Desmond) he held lectures and wrote on behalf of the Socialist Party of Canada.
